Welcome to Pinyway, an integrated suite of travel related products and services including: Pinyway branded website (the “site” or “Site”), mobile applications (the “app”) and other associated travel related websites, applications, applets, widgets, software development kits, tools, calculators, content, social networking components, products, services, or select promotional offers made available by Pinyway Inc.
To use the core functionality of the Site, you must first complete the registration form at the Site and agree to our Terms and Conditions. Pinyway respects your right to privacy and shares your concern about the security of any data you may submit to Pinyway via Pinyway’s websites and related services. Please read the following statement (the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) carefully to understand the guidelines Pinyway has established for protecting the information you provide to Pinyway during your visit to the Site and App.
We will only process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
What types of personal information do we collect?

Information from Social Media Connections. You may choose to enable or log in to Pinyway via various social media or social networking services such as Facebook or Twitter (“Social Networking Services”). When you connect your Account to a social media account, we collect certain personal information that you have provided to that Social Networking Service. For example, when you log in with your Facebook credentials, we may collect personal information from your Facebook profile, such as your email address, profile picture, and friend list.
Information Automatically Collected. When you access or use the Site, as a Registered Member or a non-registered user just browsing (any of these, a “Pinyway User”), we and third parties that provide certain functionality on our Site, such as Facebook, Twitter, and ad networks, may engage, receive, collect, and store certain types of information through automatic data collection tools including cookies, pixel tags, Web beacons, embedded Web links, and other commonly used information gathering tools (“Automatic Data Collection Tools”). These Automatic Data Collection Tools collect certain information including, but not limited to, information such as your web requests, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, and elements employed in the Mobile Applications. Pinyway may use your IP address to identify you, to administer the Site and to assist in diagnosing problems with Pinyway’s server. Pinyway also uses Google Analytics to track statistics and user behavior on the Site.

- Geolocation information means the exact location of your vehicle over a period of time. Under certain circumstances, your device may send an electronic signal through the app with your latitude and longitude at a particular point in time to Pinyway. If permitted, your geolocation information may be used to provide you with content and services that rely on or relate to your vehicle’s location that may be of interest to you.
Pinyway will only collect, maintain, use, and disclose geolocation information information as stated in this Privacy Policy, and certain uses and disclosures of geolocation information, will require your separate, express consent, either by affirmative statement or your enablement of certain vehicle functions through the Service or app.
Use of Personal Data.
We use your personal data to:
to provide the Automatic Data Collection Tools and Services; monitor and analyze use of the Site or Services, for the technical administration of the Site or Services, and to increase functionality and user-friendliness, and to better tailor our Site or Services, to the needs of Pinyway Users; manage your Account, including to communicate with you regarding your Account, if you have an Account on our Site; to evaluate and improve your driving experience; to help you maintain your vehicle; to offer you opportunities and promotions that Pinyway believes would be of benefit to you; operate and administer our rewards program and other promotions you participate in on our Site; respond to your comments and questions and to provide customer service; send information including technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages; maintain internal research and other marketing purposes, including e-mailing you with special promotions, other programs of interest and other news, including information about products and services offered by us and our affiliates, provided you have opted-in to receive such information. If the information is sent as part of a website evaluation, Pinyway may also use the information to contact you about your comments; to prevent fraud or misuse; to help protect the safety of other Pinyway Users; to comply with legal requirements; for related legitimate purposes as permitted by applicable law; or as described in the “Sharing of Personal Data” section below.
Sharing of Personal Data
Pinyway will only share your personal information with third parties: with your consent; if Pinyway determines that it is required to do so by law; such as in response to a court order or subpoena; if Pinyway finds that you are in breach of its terms and conditions or any of its policies or usage guidelines for specific products or services; if it is necessary in Pinyway opinion to do so to prevent, investigate, detect or prosecute criminal offenses or attacks on the technical integrity of the Site or Pinyway network; if it is necessary in Pinyway’s opinion to do so to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pinyway or its employees, Pinyway Users, or the public; if it is necessary to fulfill your product or service order. Pinyway uses a credit card processing company to process your credit card information as required for your order and to ensure that your transaction is secure. This processing company does not retain, share, store or use your personally identifiable information for any other purposes; who provide services such as data analysis payment processing, information technology and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email delivery, auditing and for other similar legitimate purposes permitted by applicable law; such as third party advertisers and advertising networks that require the data to select and serve relevant adverts to you and others; or when we do a business deal, or negotiate a business deal, involving the sale or transfer of all or a part of our business or assets. Third Party Sites. Our Site may contain links to third party websites and features. This Policy does not cover the privacy practices of such third parties. These third parties have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for their websites, features or policies. User Generated Content. You may share personal data with us when you submit user generated content to our Site, including via our rewards program and on message boards and blogs on our Site. Please note that any information you post or disclose on our Site will become public information, and will be available to other users of our Site and to the general public. Such personal data and other information will not be private or confidential once it is published on our Site.
Your Rights
Email Newsletter. By registering for Pinyway services you agree to opt-in the Pinyway newsletter unless you selected not to receive the newsletter. Pinyway does not rent, share or sell your email to any third parties in ways other than disclosed in this privacy statement. You may opt-out of this service and remove your email from the Pinyway newsletter at any time. If you opt out, we may still send you non-marketing emails. Non-marketing emails include emails about your Account with us (if you have one) and our business dealings with you.
Opt-in and opt-out Services. You may choose to “opt out” or “opt in” of any email communications from Pinyway. Please follow the unsubscribe instructions within each email. When you “opt-out” of receiving interest-based advertisements, this does not mean you will no longer see advertisements from us or on the Services; it means that the online ads that you do see will not be targeted to you based on your particular interests. We may still collect information about you and your use of the Services for any purpose permitted under the Privacy Policy, including for analytics and fraud prevention.
Accessing and Updating Your Information. You may access the information we hold about you. Protecting data you share with Pinyway.
Pinyway employs reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect personal information from becoming disclosed to individuals who are not described in this Privacy Policy. We use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encrypted internet transmission of personal information such as your name, address and credit card number. The Site is also registered with Site identification authorities so that your browser can confirm Pinyway identity before any personal information is sent.
Ultimately, if you register an Account, your Account and personal information is protected by the password you provided when you created your Account or updated your password while logged into your Account. Always keep this password and login information private and never share it with anyone. Also, remember to sign off your Account and close your browser window when you have finished your visit. This is to ensure that others cannot access your Account, especially if you are sharing a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place. Pinyway works hard to protect your personal information, but no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
